Finding the right chiropractor comes down to a few things that actually matter, past whatever shows up first in a search.

Check Their Approach

Chiropractors work differently from each other. Some focus on quick symptom relief, others - like us - take a more principled approach, looking at why the joints aren't functioning properly in the first place rather than just easing the immediate pain. Neither is wrong, but it's worth knowing which one you're booking before you go in.

Ask About the First Visit

A proper first visit should include a real assessment - history, movement testing, and a clear explanation of what they find. If a clinic can't explain what's happening in plain terms, that's worth noticing.

Look for Registration

In Ireland, chiropractors should be registered with a recognised professional body. It's a quick thing to check and rules out a lot of uncertainty upfront. In ireland it is Called the Chiropractic Association of Ireland. Dr. Rick & Spencer are both memebers and Rick is currently sitting on the Executive board as Vice President of the association

Consider Location and Flexibility

Practical things matter too - can you book online, is the location workable for regular visits, do the hours suit your schedule.

Trust the Follow-Up

A good chiropractor doesn't lock you into a fixed number of sessions on day one. Care plans should adjust based on how you're actually responding.

Our Approach at Peace Chiropractic

We're based in Terenure and take a principled, subluxation-based approach - meaning we look at the underlying joint function rather than just treating symptoms. If you're weighing up your options, book a first visit and see how it compares.
